Welcome to Iced by Erica!

Baking has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember, but it was always just a hobby. Right after graduating college I began my teaching career in NYC and later accepted a new position as an Assistant Principal. I baked after work on nights and weekends, and developed a routine of baking every Sunday night to bring homemade treats to my co-workers on Monday morning. After leaving the sweet treats in the teacher's lounge when I arrived at school, I would come back after first period to find empty trays and co-workers telling me "You should sell these!" and "You should open a bakery!" but never took it seriously. Fast forward to quarantine, remote learning, and a lot of extra time at home, and I finally took the leap to make my longtime baking hobby into a business!
